Drennan Acolyte Plus Float Rods

Drennan Acolyte Plus 13ft Float Rod

Developed with five-time World Champion Alan Scotthorne, the Drennan Acolyte Plus 13ft Float Rod is the perfect blend of finesse and power. A step up from the original Acolyte Ultra, this rod retains an exceptionally slim and lightweight blank while providing the added strength needed to handle larger fish and cast heavier floats with ease.

This rod excels on both natural Irish waters and commercial venues, making it ideal for float fishing on rivers, lakes, and stillwaters across Ireland. Whether you’re casting stick floats on the River Shannon or punching pellet wagglers on your local commercial, the Acolyte Plus offers outstanding control and sensitivity.
