The Super Griffon Competizione is the definitive light cranking rod, faithfully inheriting the tradition of previous Super Griffon models, the pinnacle of medium-light fast-moving rods.
As its name suggests, the Super Griffon Competizione is a competition-spec model designed to give you an advantage in tournaments with light, fast-moving lures.
The Super Titanium belly section, with its exquisite balance of tension and tenacity, fully demonstrates the unique performance of its variable action, allowing for comfortable long-distance casting of lightweight plugs and reliable hook-setting even with reaction bites.
The MX40 Super Titanium Hybrid shaft delivers torque performance one level higher than the Power Force shaft, giving you superior lure control and a competitive fight while avoiding getting stuck in cover cranking.
The Super Griffon’s consistently light and agile lure management is highly adaptable to a wide range of lures, from vibration plugs and small spinnerbaits to medium- to large-sized topwater plugs and jerkbaits. The Super Griffon has always been the pinnacle of medium-light rods.
