A wide lineup covers modern fishing. A new high-cost performer that plays the core of Shimano bass rods.
172MH: Versatile Concept.
A long versatile rod “172MH” with improved power and long-distance casting performance.
Highly accurate pitching to short distances, continuous full casts in a vast field. A regular fast taper that is sharp yet bends smoothly under load. Equipped with a “carbon monocoque grip” that instantly conveys the feeling of discomfort underwater.
This is a reliable rod that can be entrusted with jigs and worming around 3/8oz, mainly using Texas rigs, slow rolls of spinnerbaits around 1/2oz, and fishing that explores a wide area with swim jigs and vibrations.
