Savage Gear Seeker ISP 68mm 12g S Green Mackerel

Savage Gear Seeker ISP 68mm 12g S Green Mackerel Long casting lure for Irish sea trout and bass

The Savage Gear Seeker ISP 68mm 12g S Green Mackerel is a compact metal lure designed for ultra-long casting and lively swimming action. Built for fishing in windy coastal conditions, the Seeker cuts through the air and reaches distant feeding fish with ease. Its unique blade-style body creates an erratic swimming movement and a spectacular 360-degree rotation on spin-stops, producing intense flashes that attract predatory fish.

This lure also features Savage Gears Intense Strike Point (ISP) technology. Pre-drilled holes in the lure body are filled with strong glow and UV epoxy material, creating highly visible strike points that draw predators toward the tail section where the hook is positioned. This design encourages fish to attack exactly where the hook sits, helping improve hook-up rates.

Each Seeker lure comes supplied with both an ultra-sharp Savage Gear Y-treble hook.

The slim 68mm body and 12g weight make this lure perfect for covering large areas of Irish coastline, estuaries, and harbour mouths where sea trout and bass hunt small baitfish. The erratic flash and spin-stop action can trigger aggressive strikes even in clear water or when predators are chasing fast-moving prey.

Why It Works for Irish Anglers

Sea trout and bass along the Irish coastline often hunt small baitfish that scatter quickly when predators attack. The Savage Gear Seekers long casting ability allows anglers to reach feeding fish from shore even in strong wind conditions commonly found on exposed beaches and rocky marks.

The intense flashing and spin-stop rotation create a highly visible signal that helps fish locate the lure in moving water or choppy surf. The ISP glow strike points further enhance the lures visibility during low light periods, making it a reliable option for dawn, dusk, or overcast coastal sessions.

Perfect For

• Sea trout fishing along Irish coastlines
