Raid Japan Level Shad

The Raid Japan Level Shad combines all the essential elements of what Raid Japan wanted in a compact, ultralight shad jerkbait. Like a precision instrument, it captures the technology and spirit of the company. When fishing from the bank, a compact, ultralight body is far less effective if it doesn’t cast far. The Level Shad is optimized in terms of body shape, lip drag, and weight transfer system for overall balance, resulting in best-in-class casting distances among 50mm shad jerkbaits. With consistent casts, there are more opportunities to get the lure through the strike zone. Of course, long casts only make sense when paired with an attractive action. With its delicate, high action, the Level Shad flees like a small baitfish. It creates vibrations you’ve never felt before. The idea behind these lifelike, super-fine vibrations is not to attract fish, but to present them directly in front of them so that they can bite without hesitation. The tight, high action also produces less wobble at the rear hook, resulting in a better hookup rate. This means that on short bites, there’s a lower chance of the hook being set flat or missing altogether. Even under the toughest conditions, this rare bite is highly likely to be landed.
