The Soft Lure Clone Frog 3 pieces per pack is a soft frog bait for fishing over grass, pads, mats, shallow cover, and places where fish are looking upward. The soft body lets it move through cover more naturally than a hardbait.
Fish it slowly across openings and pause it beside holes or edges.
Short twitches and stops often get better strikes than rushing it across the whole mat.
It is strongest in shallow cover and warm-water surface feeding.
It is not a deep-water lure, and hookup quality depends on giving the fish a moment to take the bait.
The brighter or flashier finish is useful when the water has stain, the light is low, or the lure needs to stand out around current, cover, or surface disturbance.
In very clear calm water, slow the retrieve down or switch to a more natural finish if fish are only following.
TARGET SPECIES: bass, bream, rockfish, flathead, perch, peacock bass, sea bass, and light-game predators feeding around cover, bait, or bottom structure.
