Returns Simplified. The Fox Rage Street Fighter 3.7m Carbon Net is widely considered the sweet spot of the Street Fighter range. Offering a significant reach advantage over standard nets without the extreme length of the 5.5m version, this net is a essential tool for the mobile lure angler who encounters varying bank heights.
At Gerrys Fishing, we recommend the 3.7m model for anglers who need that extra security when fishing from elevated towpaths or steeper river banks. It combines the extreme lightness of a high-modulus carbon handle with a lightning-fast deployment system, ensuring that when that specimen perch or zander hits the surface, your net is ready before they have a chance to dive.
Optimal Reach: At 3.7 metres, this net bridges the gap between standard roving nets and specialized high-wall gear, giving you confidence on almost any bankside.
Fast-Flip Extension: Designed for high-pressure moments, the handle features a rapid extension mechanism and an upgraded quick-release spreader block for seamless, one-handed operation.
Carbon Strength & Weight: The handle is crafted from high-grade carbon, providing the rigidity needed to net fish at distance while remaining light enough to carry on your belt all day.
Premium Fish Care: The 50cm x 60cm head features a black and grey rubberised mesh. This not only protects the fishs scales but also prevents treble hooks from tangling, allowing for a faster release.
Floating Mesh Design: The net head is designed to float, a massive advantage if you accidentally drop it while navigating tricky terrain.

Small Piers & Jetties: Provides more than enough reach for most wooden jetties or small stone piers found in urban docklands.
Pro Tip from the Gerrys Team
To ensure the longevity of your carbon handle, never crane a heavy fish out of the water horizontally at full extension. Once the fish is in the mesh, retract the telescopic sections vertically. This puts the weight onto the strongest part of the carbon and prevents unnecessary leverage stress on the joints!
Is the handle stiff enough at full extension?
Yes. Because it is made from carbon rather than composite or fibreglass, the 3.7m Street Fighter handle remains remarkably stiff, giving you better point-and-aim accuracy when netting a moving fish.
Does it come with a shoulder strap?
It doesnt include a strap, but it features a very sturdy built-in belt clip. It also has a D-ring specifically designed to be used with a net magnet for on-the-back carrying.
Will lure hooks get stuck in this mesh?
The rubberised coating is specifically designed to be hook-resistant. Unlike traditional hex-mesh, trebles usually slide right out, saving you time and frustration during a busy session
