Bait keeper Golden Catch Screw GC-1071SS L

Golden Catch Bait Keeper Screw GC-1071SS L a simple yet highly effective rigging element that securely fixes soft silicone lures on offset hooks. Many anglers are familiar with the situation when, after a missed bite, the lure slides off the hook and loses its action. Additionally, fish often attempt to “pick up” the lure after an unsuccessful initial strike. A dislodged soft lure nearly eliminates the chance of a second strike, but the Bait Keeper GC-1071SS L can solve this issue. Thanks to the “hinged” connection between the silicone lure and the hook, using the keeper increases the success rate of hooksets.
An added advantage is that under high stress, the keeper moves freely along the hook, preventing damage to the silicone lure.
Made of stainless steel and featuring a screw-type design, it ensures the most secure fixation within the body of the lure. This allows for fishing in the toughest conditions, such as snaggy areas, rocky bottoms, or amidst underwater vegetation.
The keeper is resistant to the salt in silicone composition, so there is no need to remove it from the lure after fishing.
It is effective for use with silicone lures 3 inches or larger, provided the lure has sufficient diameter at the fixing point.
