Shimano Aero Pro Shallow Power Top Kit 2.50m 2pc Grey

Shimano Aero Pro Shallow Power Top Kit 2.50m 2pc Grey Stealth Performance

The Shimano Aero Pro Shallow Power Top Kit in Grey is a specialized tactical tool for the serious match angler. At Gerrys Fishing, we find this Shallow version to be a game-changer when fishing for carp and F1s in the upper layers. The matte grey finish is not just for aesthetics; it acts as a stealth camouflage against the sky, significantly reducing the chance of spooking fish when you are shipping the pole over their heads in clear or shallow water.

Despite its lightweight feel, this is a Power kit designed to handle high-pressure commercial situations. It is constructed from the highest-grade Japanese carbon found in the flagship Aero Pro series, ensuring it doesnt droop or lose stiffness when youre fishing at long lengths. It comes pre-bushed with a large-bore PTFE bush and features the standard reinforced band for your puller kit.

Tactical Advantages

• Anti-Spook Grey Finish: While traditional black carbon can cast a sharp shadow or silhouette on sunny days, the matte grey finish blends into the skyline. This is a massive advantage when fishing slop or pellet waggler style with the pole in just 1224 inches of water.

• True Aero Concept Length: Like the Match and standard Power kits, this is exactly 2.50m long. This consistency allows you to keep your rigs exactly the same length across all your kits, making depth adjustments seamless when the fish move up or down in the water column.

• Pro-Grade Stiffness: Because it uses the highest-spec carbon, this kit keeps the pole lightning-fast on the strike. Even though its a Power kit, it doesnt add the tip-heavy weight that often plagues mid-range power top sets.

• Depth Markers: Built-in 10cm depth markers allow you to precisely track how deep you are fishing, which is critical for repeating success once youve found the feeding zone of the F1s.
