MFC – Barred Schlappen

MFC Barred Schlappen Soft, webby feathers with bold barring for streamers and collars.

MFC Barred Schlappen is a premium feather material prized for its length, softness, and striking barred pattern. Perfect for building flowing collars, hackles, and wings on streamers, steelhead, and salmon patterns, these feathers create lifelike pulsing action in the water. Their wide, webby fibers make them easy to wrap, providing bulk and movement without stiffness. The natural barring adds depth and contrast, giving flies an eye-catching profile that draws aggressive strikes. Strung for convenience and consistency, MFC Barred Schlappen is ready to use straight from the pack. Shop online or visit Drift Outfitters in Toronto for expert advice and fast shipping across Canada.
