Bead head Scud

Bead Head Scud Effective freshwater pattern for trout and steelhead.

The Bead Head Scud is a proven fly pattern that imitates freshwater scuds and sowbugs, an important year-round food source for trout, grayling, and steelhead. The bead head adds weight, helping the fly sink quickly into the strike zone, while the curved profile and buggy appearance trigger fish in rivers and stillwaters alike. Available in multiple colours to match local forage, this versatile pattern is effective when dead-drifted, swung, or fished under an indicator. Durable and reliable, the Bead Head Scud is a must-have in any serious anglers fly box. Shop online or visit Drift Outfitters in Toronto for expert advice and fast shipping anywhere in Canada.
