The T.D. Hyper Crank is a cover crankbait with a titanium lip.
Its greatest feature is its nearly vertical floating posture and rapid diving, which makes it highly capable of avoiding snags. Because it floats upright, the hook is hidden in the body, making it easier to slip through cover.
It is particularly effective at fishing around standing trees found in reservoirs, and is often featured in tournaments.
The titanium lip is very thin, so it has a high action response, ensuring solid action even when reeling slowly.
You can also tune it to sink by attaching a plate-shaped sinker to the lip, allowing you to fish even deeper.
