This sinking pencil plug is designed for long casting distance and is perfect for targeting big rockfish. Its 50mm body is packed with weight without compromising its action.
Furthermore, the body’s irregularities, which cause air resistance, have been eliminated, and the tail has been tapered to maximize long casting performance, allowing you to target areas previously out of reach with lures of this size.
The action is two-way, changing with reeling speed.
When reeling slowly, it appeals with a high-pitch roll and body flashing, while faster reeling creates a wobbling roll action that can reach a wider area.
During the fall, the body sways as it falls, creating a slinky fall that ensures you won’t miss a bite.
The high, flat-sided body pushes water well even with a weak action, and the flashing caused by the roll action creates a strong appeal to rockfish.
