The Fox Frontier II-X Inner Mesh Shield is a full inner pod designed to be used with the Fox Frontier II-X and Frontier II-XL bivvies. It provides an extra layer of protection and comfort, creating a bug-free and more insulated environment inside your shelter.
Key Features and Description
- Complete Internal Pod: This is a full-length inner pod that creates a separate inner tent inside the bivvy. It zips directly to the main bivvys heavy-duty groundsheet, providing a fully sealed, bug-proof barrier.
- Toggles for Easy Attachment: The inner mesh shield is designed to be easily and quickly fixed into position using a simple toggle attachment system that connects to the bivvys internal frame.
- No Separate Groundsheet: Unlike some other inner domes, the Mesh Shield does not have its own separate groundsheet. Instead, it zips directly to the bivvys existing groundsheet, which reduces both weight and packed bulk.
- Double-Zipped Front Door: The front door of the mesh shield features a double-zipped closure, allowing for a letterbox style opening. This is a very useful feature for quickly checking your rods or getting in and out without fully unzipping the entire door.
- Internal Storage Pockets and Hanging Loop: For added convenience, the mesh shield includes two internal mesh pockets for storing small items like a headtorch, phone, or keys. It also features a central hanging loop, perfect for hanging a bivvy light.
- Four Mesh Windows: The pod is equipped with four mesh windows that are strategically positioned to align with the main bivvys vents. This allows for excellent airflow and ventilation while still keeping insects out. You can also access the main bivvys vents from inside the mesh shield.
