Pro Tip from the Gerrys Fishing Team
The 100W USB-C Power Delivery port on this block is an absolute game-changer for digital-savvy anglers. Traditional power banks struggle to charge high-drain laptops, requiring hours to slowly trickle power. This 100W port outputs pure, high-speed juice that can top up a modern MacBook or high-end laptop just as fast as your main kitchen wall socket. If youre running business e-commerce from the bank, editing video content, or reviewing drone footage on a big screen, this compact unit delivers elite desktop speeds in a featherweight package.
What makes LiFePo4 cells better than standard Lithium-ion power banks?
LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells are significantly more stable and safer in outdoor environments. They do not suffer from thermal runaway, meaning they wont overheat even when exposed to high summer temperatures inside a bivvy. Furthermore, they last up to 4 to 5 times longer than standard batteries, comfortably surviving over 2,000 to 3,000 charge cycles before losing capacity.
Can I charge multiple devices at the same time?
Absolutely. You can simultaneously use the wireless top pad, the dual USB ports, the USB-C channels, and the 12V cigarette lighter socket. The internal management system dynamically balances the wattage across all ports to ensure safe, stable, and efficient power distribution to every device plugged in.
How do I recharge the Fox Halo 48k itself?
You have three highly flexible options. You can plug it into a standard household wall socket using the supplied AC adapter, charge it on the move via a 12V car socket, or charge it at your peg by connecting a compatible 80W solar panel directly into the DC input port.
