By elongating the shank weve made the Straight Point slightly longer than the Wide Gape and weve in turned the eye by 15 degrees. The biggest design feature, however, is the tapered, eye-wateringly sharp, straight point. The end result is creating one of the most versatile and efficient hooks weve ever made.
Strength and durability were also a key consideration when designing this hook. Weve stepped up the gauge of the Japanese steel making this hook as strong as the other X gauge hooks in our range. Its been forged and PTFE coated ensuring lasting durability whilst maintaining a razor-sharp point straight out of the packet.
