The original HPF Crank is the No. 1 flat-side crank with excellent total performance, packed with a number of innovative technologies inside the body, and has a high-pitch action response that is better than balsa and overcomes the flat-side’s biggest weakness, castability.
However, the only quirk is that when it hits the cover during a swim, the main weight sometimes rolls to the tail, resulting in a large sideways fall. On the other hand, if you master this, you can induce a reaction bite with the irregular escape action and the movement of rising from the bottom to the water surface, which was impossible with hard lures with lips.
However, this characteristic movement can also be a negative factor depending on the condition of the bass.
In Spec 2, the mold inside the body has been renewed and the weight has been changed to a fixed type. Even when it hits the cover, you can attack with stable reeling that does not move away from the structure without falling sideways.
