Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Light Game

Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Light Game Spinning Rod

The Savage Gear Defiance SG2 Light Game series is the perfect choice when you want to scale down your tackle without sacrificing performance or control. Designed for light lure fishing, these rods combine exceptional sensitivity with enough backbone to confidently handle larger fish when the moment comes.

Built on 24/30T high modulus carbon fibre blanks, the Defiance SG2 Light Game rods deliver fast, aggressive actions that work brilliantly with soft plastics, small hard lures, spinners, spoons, and micro jigs. The extra-sensitive finesse blank allows you to feel every lure movement and subtle bite, while the powerful mid and butt sections provide solid hook-setting power and fish control.

Equipped with SeaGuide Gunsmoke SW guides in a CCS guide setting, these rods offer smooth line flow and excellent corrosion resistance, making them suitable for both freshwater and light saltwater use. The SeaGuide Gold Label reel seat ensures a secure and comfortable reel fit, while the tough EVA handle provides grip and comfort during long sessions.

Supplied with a deluxe rod bag, the Defiance SG2 Light Game rods are refined, versatile tools for anglers who enjoy precision fishing with lighter tackle.
