Shimano Vengeance DX Seabass Spinning 2.69m 10-35g 2pc

Shimano Vengeance DX Seabass: The Responsive Specialist

The Vengeance DX Seabass is a high-value specialist rod meticulously designed for anglers who want the performance of a dedicated lure rod without a premium investment. While most entry-level rods utilize heavy composite materials, the Vengeance series features a Full Carbon blank. This makes the rod significantly more responsive and lightweight, allowing for better lure feedback and reduced fatigue during long sessions. The 10-35g rating makes this model incredibly versatile, capable of launching lightweight lures with precision while retaining the backbone to handle hard-fighting predators in the surf.

Technical Construction & Feel

This model is built to bridge the gap between affordability and professional performance:

• Full Carbon Blank: Unlike composite alternatives, the 100% carbon construction ensures a crisp recovery and a sensitive tip. This allows you to feel the subtle action of your lure and detect the most tentative of takes.

• Moderate-Fast Action: This action is ideal for the start-and-stop nature of sea bass fishing. It loads progressively during the cast to achieve impressive distance with 20-30g lures, yet remains forgiving enough to prevent hook-pulls when a fish thrashes at the net.

• Optimized Balance: At 2.69m, this rod offers excellent leverage for long-distance casting without feeling tip-heavy, making it a joy to use for occasional and new anglers alike.

Hard-Wearing Saltwater Hardware

The Vengeance DX is equipped with durable components designed to withstand the corrosive coastal environment:

• Shimano Hardlite Guides: These stainless steel guides are tough and reliable. They are fully compatible with modern braided lines (PE), ensuring smooth line flow and reduced friction for maximum casting distance.

• Custom DPS Reel Seat: The ergonomically designed reel seat provides a rock-solid connection between your reel and the rod, ensuring zero chatter or movement during high-pressure retrieves.

• Split Grip EVA Handle: The stylish EVA handle is split to reduce weight and provides a comfortable, non-slip grip that remains easy to clean after exposure to salt and fish slime.
