Tied with a tungsten bead and a realistic buggy profile, the fly gets down quickly while maintaining a natural appearance underwater.
A biot body creates a segmented stonefly silhouette, while barred micro legs add subtle movement during the drift. Matching biot horns and tails complete the realistic profile and help imitate mature stonefly nymphs closely. Fish this as an all-around searching pattern, but it is especially effective when the stoneflies are popping.
