Made from continuous polyester filaments that are slightly bonded, this thread ties flat on the hook, making it perfect for creating smooth, even bodies. Lightly waxed for added grip, it splits easily for dubbing and offers excellent control for precise wraps. With a breaking strength of about 2 lb, Ultra Thread 140D is exceedingly strong for its diameter, making it a favorite for trout streamers, steelhead patterns, and medium-to-large flies where durability matters.
