Westin Herrix Jig 40g 7.5cm Blue Mackerel

Westin Herrix Jig 7.5cm 40g Realistic Herring Jig for Irish Saltwater Fishing Blue Mackerel

The Westin Herrix Jig is designed to imitate herring with lifelike precision, making it a deadly choice when predators are actively feeding on baitfish. With realistic colours, detailed 3D features, and a natural fluttering action, this jig closely mirrors the movement of a fleeing herring in Irish coastal waters.

Built to perform in both shallow and deeper water, the Herrix Jig delivers an enticing action on the drop and during the retrieve. Its internal rattle adds subtle sound attraction, helping fish locate the lure in moving water or reduced visibility, while the heavier 40g weight allows anglers to fish confidently in stronger tides or deeper marks.

Key Features

• Life-like herring profile with realistic 3D detailing
• Dynamic fluttering action on the drop and retrieve
• Internal metal rattle ball for added attraction
• Heavy-duty hooks for secure hook-ups
• Designed in Scandinavia for demanding saltwater use

Why It Works for Irish Anglers

Herring are a vital food source for many saltwater predators around Ireland. The Herrix Jig matches both their appearance and movement, making it especially effective when fishing over reefs, rough ground, or deeper water where a controlled fall and strong presence are essential. The 40g weight helps maintain contact with the lure in wind and tide, common challenges for Irish anglers.
