Yamamoto Yamatanuki Stick Bait

Made with Yamamotos specialized high-density soft plastic formula, the Yamatanuki Stick Bait features a heavy construction that allows anglers to fish it weightless while still achieving excellent casting distance and a quick horizontal fall. This dense design makes it a great choice for pairing with an extra wide gap hook, giving anglers a powerful finesse option for flipping into thick cover, working across open water, or targeting fish spotted on forward-facing sonar.

Although the Yamatanuki is newly introduced to anglers in the United States, it has long been a favorite in Japan and has been a key part of the Yamamoto bait lineup for years. Many anglers credit this lure as one of the baits that helped popularize the heavy soft plastic lure style now widely used in the U.S.

Offered in a selection of proven colors chosen by Yamamotos professional staff, the Yamatanuki provides dependable fish-catching options for a variety of fishing conditions. Each bait also includes a molded hook slot that makes rigging easier and helps improve hook-up success.

Built on Yamamotos tradition of producing innovative and highly effective fishing lures, the Yamatanuki Stick Bait is a versatile addition to any anglers tackle collection.
